You can remove your Rajpath Navratri account and personal data at any time.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

This page explains how to delete your Rajpath Navratri account and the personal data attached to it. You do not need to install the app to make a deletion request — the email route below works for anyone.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app

  1. Open the Rajpath Navratri app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. Your request is logged and processed as described below.

Option 2 — Send us a deletion request

Fill in the number registered on your account and we will take it from there.

+91

We may confirm by OTP on this number so that nobody else can delete your account.

Option 3 — Contact us yourself

Send an email to support@rajpathnavratri.in from the address on your account, or WhatsApp / call us on the numbers below, with:

  • the subject line "Delete my account and data";
  • the mobile number registered on your account;
  • your name as it appears on the account.

We may ask you to confirm an OTP on your registered mobile number, so that nobody else can delete your account.

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we remove:

  • your name, mobile number and email address;
  • your profile photograph;
  • your gender and any group membership details;
  • your device identifier and notification token;
  • your login credentials and any stored OTP.

What we may keep, and why

A small amount of information is retained where we are required to keep it, or where it cannot identify you any more:

  • Pass and entry-scan records — kept for the festival season and a reasonable period afterwards for security, dispute and audit purposes. Where these are kept beyond your deletion they are detached from your personal details.
  • Records we must retain by law — for example anything required for tax, accounting or a legal or regulatory obligation, kept only as long as the law requires.
  • Event photographs and CCTV footage — general crowd photography and safety footage is not linked to your account. To have a specific published photograph of yourself removed, tell us which one and we will take it down.

How long it takes

We action deletion requests within 30 days of verifying them, and will confirm to you when it is done. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, so a copy may persist in an offline backup for a short period after that before being permanently removed.

Deleting your account cancels your passes. If you still hold a valid pass for a night that has not happened yet, deleting your account will remove it and it cannot be restored. Please make sure you want to do this before you confirm.

Just want to stop notifications?

You do not need to delete your account. Turn off notifications for the Rajpath Navratri app in your phone's settings, and your pass will keep working.
